The LinkUS initiative is delivering on its promise to transform mobility in Central Ohio. These progress reports highlight key achievements, project timelines and upcoming opportunities for community engagement.
Key Highlights
- Tap to Pay Now Available: COTA Riders can now use smartphones, smartwatches or tap-enabled cards to pay fares on all COTA fixed-route vehicles.
- New Leadership: COTA welcomed Chief Operating Officer Alicia Walker, who will oversee all operations at COTA, including rapid transit initiatives as they launch.
Project Status Updates
- East Main BRT: Design will advance to 90% in 2026, with completion of 100% design expected by year’s end.
- Northwest BRT: Project achieved a federal environmental review milestone and continues design work in 2026.
